We had beautiful 70 degree sunshine so today was the right day for the Tulip Festival. Unfortunately the flowers are not in bloom yet. We have Artic Storm 2008 to thank for that! They have extended the festival by 2 weeks this year because of the storm in December. We are going to try to go back to see the flowers in bloom. We still had a nice day together. The kids had fun pumping the water for the "Ducky Races". They actually wanted to pose for me this year, so I took them up on their offer. They had a few more vintage tractors this year as well. We even got to see them drive them! That was really great to see old steam engines working and watch how they had to be driven. Thank heaven for modern technology!
